3 Must Hear Songs To Start Your Week Off

Good Morning my beautiful Yannie Grams, today is Monday and it's time to rise and shine or should I say "RISE AND GRIND", okay?!

As we all know Monday is that one day of the week that we all dread seeing. It's like you're partying and having fun all weekend long... Then BAM, out of no where, work comes around and slaps you in the face. Now you're  forced to stop having fun like you're on some sort of punishment! But luckily, I have the perfect playlist to get you up and going on this dreadful Monday.

My first song is "W.A.Y.S" by Jhene Aiko, which is one of my favorite songs. It helps to remind me that through it all, I have to keep going. You can't stop because of one little speed bump along the way.

The second song I chose is "This Is What It Look Like" by PJ. This particular song puts me in a totally different headspace. It makes me want to grind and work even harder for everything I want. Because of the mere fact that a lot of people want to see you fail. Their minds are too small to see the bigger picture, so therefore you now have to show them, what you're made of. A lot of times you have to remind yourself and others what you're capable of.  My favorite verse in the song is "Cause when they told me no, I did that shit regardless, well this is who I am, nothing to change, I'm SORRY." That verse alone literally does something to me. I instantly have tunnel vision, where I see nothing but my goals. I start to reminisce on all the times my teachers, coworkers, friends, and etc. told me that my idea wouldn't work and that they were stupid. So basically, this song makes you want to prove everyone wrong.

My third song is "Roar" by Katy Perry. This song emphasizes  your inner champion. In the song, it talks about "having the eye of an tiger", meaning that you're focused on your goal. I like to listen to this song on my way to work for guidance. That way I can refocus my attention on the bigger picture.

Below I have attached a link to my morning playlist. I hope you guys enjoy these songs as much as I do.

Happy Monday :)

One Skirt- 3 Ways

new-9.jpg

Expand your wardrobe by mixing and matching pieces within your closet. You can take one skirt and rock it in three or more ways. Don’t be afraid to remix one of your favorite skirts, shirts, dresses or pants. It’s always a good idea to wear a garment in a completely different way than before. Especially, if the garment is really bold and very noticeable like the skirt that I’m rocking below.

In my first look, I’m wearing a black cold shoulder top paired with a black moto jacket, and a brown faux patent zip up skirt. I accessorized my look with silver hoop earrings, a black choker, and black scrappy sandals. For my makeup, I decided to pop my look with this bomb MAC lippie called Rubywoo.

For my second look, I paired an off the shoulder, pastel blue crop top with the same brown faux patent zip up skirt from the previous look. Matching my lipstick, I popped this look with my fuzzy red heels.

My third look, I layered this look with an oversize men camo army jacket with an faint olive green t-shirt, and again the same brown faux patent zip up skirt.

Miami Living

My time in Miami was over way too soon! I must say that I truly enjoyed myself with these ladies. This was my very first time going to Miami and I had an awesome time. We had the chance to visit the River Yacht Club, Candy Factory, V Live and more… Overall my time in Miami was excellent. Thanks again Shania for the invite to your 25th Slaycation!
